🎞️ Minulý čas priebehový (Past Continuous)
Opisuje dej, ktorý v určitej chvíli v minulosti prebiehal – často „pozadie“ pre iný, krátky dej. Tvar: was / were + -ing.
Ako sa tvorí

Prerušený dej
Dlhý dej (was/were + -ing) preruší krátky dej (minulý čas jednoduchý), zvyčajne so spojkou when.
- I was watching TV when the phone rang. – Pozeral som televíziu, keď zazvonil telefón.
V určitú chvíľu
Čo sme robili v konkrétny čas: at 8 p.m. yesterday, this time last year.
- At eight o’clock I was having dinner. – O ôsmej som večeral.
Dva deje naraz
So spojkou while: dva deje prebiehali súčasne.
- While I was cooking, my sister was studying. – Kým som varil, sestra sa učila.
