📏 Stupňování přídavných jmen
Krátká přídavná jména stupňujeme koncovkami -er a the -est, dlouhá slovy more a the most. Porovnáváme pomocí than.

Pravopis
Krátká samohláska + souhláska → zdvojení (big → bigger). Souhláska + y → -ier (easy → easier). Koncové -e → jen -r (nice → nicer).
- My brother is taller than me. – Můj bratr je vyšší než já.
As … as
Stejně jako: as + přídavné jméno + as. Zápor: not as … as.
- This film is not as good as the book. – Tenhle film není tak dobrý jako kniha.
Čím…, tím…
The + 2. stupeň, the + 2. stupeň.
- The sooner, the better. – Čím dřív, tím líp.
