⏳ Prítomný čas priebehový (Present Continuous)
Opisuje, čo sa deje práve teraz alebo dočasne, a tiež dohodnuté plány do budúcnosti. Tvar: am / is / are + sloveso s -ing.

Dej prebieha v okamihu hovorenia (now, at the moment, Look!, Listen!).
- Look! It's raining. – Pozri, prší.
- I'm cooking dinner now. – Teraz varím večeru.
Dočasne a plány
Situácia, ktorá platí len teraz (this week, these days), a pevne dohodnuté plány.
- I'm reading a great book this week. – Tento týždeň čítam skvelú knihu.
- We're meeting Tom tonight. – Dnes večer sa stretneme s Tomom.
Stavové slovesá
Slovesá ako know, like, love, want, need, believe, understand sa v priebehovom čase zvyčajne nepoužívajú: I know (nie I’m knowing).
- I need a new phone. – Potrebujem nový telefón.
